Knitting & crochet love

Hello Beauties,

3 stoles

                  I am back after a long absence from my blog.As winter is here once again I am  knitting and I love knitting but this year I have found a new passion that is crochet. Girls I have seen wonderful and very useful tutorials on youtube.I made two stoles with crochet and one of them is for my niece.The knitted stole is ruffled one and I am loving it.

Maybelline jewel lipstick in Fuchsia Crystal

Helloo beauties,

 Today I am sharing this pretty shade from maybelline jewel series.This is #994 Fuchsia Crystal, as the name suggests it is bright pink shade. The lipstick is very smooth, moisturizing and leaves a glossy finish to the lips.The staying power on my lips is 3-4 hrs and after that it leaves a pink tint.

As dark and bright lips are the trend for this fall season,Maybelline jewel series have nice option. I have 3-4 shades from this jewel line which i will show you in my next post and this Fuchsia is latest addition to my collection. Here is the swatch:

My version of Kareena kapoor's lipstick in Talaash song

Helloo beauties,

You all must have seen gorgeous Kareena in Talaash movie's muskaanein jhooti hai. The lipstick shade which she is wearing is just awwwwsome,no words for that.I have some dark berry shades in my collection and tried to match with kareena's gorgeous lipstick.

Now the lipstick which I have used.It is maybelline jewels in shade 631 red garnet.My phone camera is not doing justice to the shade in pics but gals do check this shade yourself. If you are into bold colors then it is very pretty specially for the fall season.One more thing,I think this shade is also very close to MAC Rebel lipstick well that is my opinion only.

Ombre lips

Hello beauties,
I have tried a new way to apply lipsticks and i am enjoying it.You know why, because i can use 2-3 lipsticks at a same time and by that i don't mean to overlap them but to create a spectrum of colors on lips.This is known as ombre lips,here are my ombre lips pictures enjoy:

Smashbox guru palette

Hellooo beauties,

Few days back I bought my very first product from the brand SMASHBOX and it is a three tiered makeup palette. This is smashbox beauty guru palette:).The palette contains four glosses,three eyeshadows and one gel liner,bronzer and a blush.Its a compact palette and is very easy to carry in my bag.here are its pictures:

NBBN Theme Post

Hello beauties,

My quads which have apt colors for autumn

This post is my theme post for the NBBN group.This month theme is Autumn or Halloween and I choose autumn.Here I am sharing my eye colors for the autumn with you all lovelies.Hope you will like it:).



I use these two quads to create a simple pretty look for the autumn.

I skip the liner and tightline my eyes.Here I paired my shadows with revlon colorburst papaya gloss but it would look good with dark shaded lipsticks too.My phone camera is not doing justice with the colors here but in real they are looking very pretty.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie and Brown Sugar

Helloo beauties,
After watching and reading so much about these lip butters I was waiting for  Revlon lip butters to be launched in India. Now they are available in India and i bought two :) from 20 beautiful shades.

Both the shades are very pretty and have very fine shimmer in them.Price of one lipbutter is 600 rs. Packiging wise they are good. The cap  of a lipbutter indicates the color.They are very sheer but you can build the color according to your choice.I like them and will try some other shades of this range too. Enough of talking and now the swatches :P

I think you should try these lipbutters. They are very good and are available in lots of gorgeous shades.

This is my first review post and today I am reviewing  OLAY Moisture Balance Foaming Face Wash.I bought this facewash because it says it is with vitamin E and moisture balance.

What the brand claims:

Moisture balance is designed to help remove dirt,oil and 

makeup without overdrying your skin.This effective yet gentle cleanser washes away impurities while leaving 

skin feeling refreshed.It helps your skin retain its natural moisture balance.Formula contains vitamin E.It is soap-free, oil-free and dermatologically-tested.

Packaging:

It comes in an attractive tube with a flip open cap.It is quite sturdy and you can easily travel with it.

Price and quantity:

Rs 135 for 100 g

My take on the product:

The face wash is translucent and has a very mild fragrance.A small ammount is needed as it leathers well.It is gentle on skin.It cleanses the skin without leaving it dry as it claims.However it fails to remove the waterproof  makeup,for that I use makeup remover first and then finish off with it.Otherwise I found this face wash very good and i would like to buy it again.

Its my first post in Apoorva Writes. I am here with my latest Haul Post.

Look what i did yesterday.I went to my nearby market just to buy a vaseline lotion and there i saw these beauties and could not resist hence bought thm.They arey maybelline color tatoo! They are soooo pretty that once you look them you want to own them.I was thinking that they are cream eyeshadows but girls i was wrong infact they are gel based eyeshadows just like their eyeliner gel.I bought one of their babylips balm in mango flavor too.The lipbalms have very cut packing.I bought dream liquid mousse foundation too.Here are the pix of my purchasing.

Maybelline Color Tattoo :D

l-r-25 bad to bronze,30 pomegranate punk 
l-r-50 edgy emerald,45 bold gold

These shades are so pretty specially bold gold and pomegranate punk.They are water proof and stay for 24 hr.They really last long as after swatching i tried to take them off by rubbinng but they were still intact and one more thing as they are gel based eyeshadows one needs to blend it quickly before letting them dryThe cost one color tatoo is 350 rs.One more thing there is an offer going on maybellline where you get a vaniyt case on purchasing of 2000 rs and i also got one :D

I think one should have atleast two of these gorgeous beauties as they can be used as they can be use in many ways like : eye shadow base,eye liner and an eyeshadow.
